God never ceases to amaze me

So have you ever heard that everything happens for a reason and God's timing is always perfect? Well I feel that God knew exactly what we would be going through with infertility (of course He knew!) and put us in the perfect place for this journey; the Life Source Sunday school class at Jonesboro Heights Baptist Church! Since we have shared our concerns, at least three couples have come forward with their own struggles to have a child. One couple's child is going through the same thing. Three of the families have adopted children. It never ceases to amaze me that all this time God knew and He knew we would need this network of support. We had no clue that our Sunday School class that we were led to choose at the church we were led to join would be a source of strength and knowledge in this journey.

A week of answers

On Tuesday March 30th Stephen has a meeting at work to find out where his group stands in terms of the phase-out plan for Pfizer, Sanford. When we first got word of him being laid off all we were told is some time this year. It might not be good news on tuesday because it may be sooner than later but at least we will have an answer to the question of When? I think we will both cope better with this news if we have a specific date or even smaller timeframe than a year to work around.

On Thursday April 1st I have a doctors appointment. We have been trying to concieve now for over a year with no success. The past five months or cycles which is actually longer than months I have been on the fertility drug Clomid. But it is no longer working. This cycle my dose was actually doubled and it still did nothing as I did not successfully ovulate. So on thursday I meet with the doctor to answer the question of What's next?

This week I am praying that these answers are as complete as possible given the circumstances and that they bring us a sense of peace with our future.
